Climate change is an issue that disproportionately affects Black and Indigenous communities. And the solution? Trees.

How? Trees absorb pollution, improve mental health, raise property values, lower cooling bills, and can even create jobs. But decades of discriminatory zoning practices have pushed the good stuff like trees out of BIPOC neighborhoods and pushing all the bad stuff in - like highways, factories etc.

That’s why we created Tazo Tree Corps, a program that will train and hire people from economically disadvantaged BIPOC communities to help reforest their own neighborhoods. This program will create jobs, improve their neighborhoods and their local economy, and so much more.
